Specialized Workshop "Public Procurement II"

On April 27, 2011, Jiří Melkus, an attorney at KBA, lectured in a specialized workshop “Public Procurement II” for insurance brokers and insurance company representatives. The lecture dealt with the legal framework for insurance with respect to the issues of public procurement of insurance services and insurance agent services. Part of the lecture focused on the case study describing a breakthrough in the decision practice achieved by KBA on behalf of its client, MARSH, s.r.o., in a dispute with ÚOHS concerning the jurisdiction of ÚOHS to review small scale public procurement.
